Directions & Maps
Portland has a great public transit system including MAX (the light rail system), Streetcars, and Buses.
The MAX Red Line runs from the Portland Airport approximately every 15 minutes right past the DoubleTree convention hotel. TRIMET provides a handy interactive trip planner and we have provided links below that are customized to show the journey from the airport to the hotel, as well as other common journeys.
Direction signs to MAX are located in the Baggage Claim Area of the Airport. Ticket machines are located near the direction signs, and accept cash, credit, and debit cards.

The directions below are mostly for the main convention hotel, the DoubleTree, but are also applicable for the second hotel, the Inn at the Convention Center, as it is just two stops further west, at the Convention Center stop.

TRIMET Fares
There will be day and week passes available for purchase at the Company Store for your convenience.
There is also a smartphone app that lets you buy and use your fares right on your iPhone or Android phone. This can be more convenient than having to purchase paper fares. More information on the app is available at: Mobile Ticketing

Our convention hotel is located just across the street from the "Lloyd Center/NE 11th Ave MAX Station", and is served by the Red, Blue, and Green lines. Note that only the Red Line trains serve the Airport. Each train displays its Route Color and Destination on lighted signs on the front and sides.
