Error message

  • Deprecated function: The each() function is deprecated. This message will be suppressed on further calls in _menu_load_objects() (line 579 of /home/sbcrailway/mobile/includes/menu.inc).
  • Deprecated function: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; views_display has a deprecated constructor in require_once() (line 3190 of /home/sbcrailway/mobile/includes/bootstrap.inc).

Layout Design SIG

The Layout Design SIG (LDSIG) brings together folk interested in layout design from beginners to expert designers. LDSIG’s on-site activities will include layout displays, layout design consultation, a gathering place (the “SIG Room”) and sponsorship of a number of convention clinics focused on layout design. On-site activities will commence with a Sunday evening “Meet and Greet” gathering in the SIG Room. Layout consultation will be conducted via a sign-up list at the LDSIG table, with individual consultations expected to occur in a quiet corner of the room. Layout design displays will be located nearby.

Two major LDSIG events will take place away from the convention site: the Wednesday LDSIG layout tours and the Friday evening SIG dinner. The traditional Friday night SIG dinner will take place off-site at location yet to be announced. Layouts located north to Washougal, WA (just the other side of the Columbia River) and south as far as Eugene (120 miles south) will be on tour by individual carloads on Wednesday.
